Leaderflush Shapland, part of SIG plc, the leading £2 billion international specialist supplier to the construction and building markets, has acquired Birmingham based Fitzpatrick Doors which has manufactured metal doors, doorsets for the commercial and industrial building sectors for more than a century.
Fitzpatrick offers total design, manufacture, installation and supply services worldwide and has completed installations for some of the UK’s most prestigious projects including the BlueWater Shopping Complex in Kent, the Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh, Manchester Airport, Heathrow Airport and the supply of almost 2,000 steel frames and 550 steel doorsets to the new Wembley Stadium.
Unrivalled aesthetics and performance have become the hallmark of Fitzpatrick steel doorsets for all applications including metal fire doors, metal security doors, personnel and acoustic metal doorset options, all of which conform to British and International Standards and are manufactured using high quality British Steel.
Fitzpatrick has a fully automated manufacturing plant which will cope with projects of all types and sizes and includes CNC punch and folding, welding, assembly, finishing, powder coating and packing.
The acquisition enables Leaderflush Shapland, one of Europe’s largest and most successful manufacturers of doors and doorsets, to offer virtually any kind of doorset solution across a huge range of applications.
