Running continuously since 1966, the RIBA awards are given to acknowledge the complex art and science of architecture - that of designing and constructing buildings that meet today’s high architectural aesthetic and performance standards and also contribute to the local environment that we live in. To design buildings such as these, only the very best is befitting of such stature. That is why Leaderflush Shapland, the UK’s leading doorset manufacturer was the obvious choice, supplying over 2,000 doorsets to ten RIBA award winning projects. Projects include the Joseph Chamberlain College, which is also among 24 other projects short listed for the prime minister’s Better Public Building awards, Merchants Academy and Castle Hill Hospital, to mention a few. Leaderflush Shapland has a wealth of experience in manufacturing performance doors, doorsets and screens for many market sectors, including health, education, commercial and sport and leisure applications. Through our Designer, Extended Performance and Plasform ranges, we are able to provide doorset solutions that meet performance requirements for fire resistance, sound reduction, radiation shielding and antimicrobial protection.
